CANADIAN HILLS PROJECT

Condominiums | Residential | Kobe, Japan | 1991
This project was unique in that another Japanese architectural firm had already designed a building, and the contractor had completed the foundations. It was at this point that the owner decided to convert the project from standard cramped Japanese housing to spacious housing for foreigners given the existing column grid. The owner then held a design competition among 3 different architects and I won with the following unit designs:
